lowkey same but my mom will just make an unecessary comment about my outfit and its so annoying. I just always show her Pinterest pictures and fashion tik toks that display my style to show her that's what's popular right now and that it is more "normal" than what she is assuming. she HATES the little lingerie slips and tops so that's the one thing im always showing her that other girls are wearing! I hope this can help you <333

bro i feel you ive been hiding my spiked collars in my closet since i bought them
honestly i have a ton of things that my parents don't like. i throw them in my bag when i go out and put it on once i leave also, try makeup ! makeup is a great way to express your style and try new things without new clothes tbh most the clothes i wear are near "normal", its all ab the accessories and makeup and just like fuck them tbh wear whatcha want as long as you're safe. they will get over it/used to it

I recommend u try to talk to ur mom about how it's important for u to dress in a certain way in order to express yourself and feel more comfortable with yourself. If this doesn't work please be patient, I promise u it will get better as soon as u grow up, maybe move away, and use ur own money to buy stuffs!! x <3

Tbh this might go against your parents rules but oh well lmaoooo. Idk if you've seen in like the movies where the teens change into their cool clothes after they leave the house or when they get to school! and then change back into their "appropriate clothes" at their last period of school or before you go they get home.
But definitely try that! < 3 < 3
You could get caught tho! It's up to you. Hopefully they start letting you dress how you want soon!

I dealt with this too and it's not easy! I'd say to try talking to your mom/parents in a mature way and explaining why it makes you happy and why it's important to you. If they get mad or don't listen initially don't argue back, bc they may think about it after the conversation and change their minds. Most parents want their kids to be happy but their ego gets in the way in the moment! Just remember to be true to yourself and hold onto what makes you happy, even if you can't wear/express it comfortably at the moment! your parents may or may not be convinced but your individuality is important and once you're living on your own you can express it whatever way you want! ever since I moved out I have been able to wear whatever I want and my parents are a lot more respectful of it because I am old enough to make my own decisions

Could you maybe try patterned tights? Like lacey type ones. I know they're not fishnets, but they are pretty similar and come across less "scandalous"
