weekly poll: do you have New Year's Resolutions?

i wanna do better in school, be more confident, and be more productive

adolescence is a really hard time and depression makes it even more challenging but I'm proud of you for setting these goals and even making some progress on them earlier in the year! it shows that you can do it and your goals are within reach! i wish you the best with these and everything you want to achieve <3

Oof, after 2020 I'mma try to keep my resolutions to stuff I can do, even if the world goes  like "OOPS! ALL CHAOS!" again!

• First, spend less time on social media/phone, I would like to show off my best efforts online in spaces where I'm given total creative freedom like my Neocities
• Add more cool stuff to my site
• Do more traditional art like watercolor, and polymer clay and colored pencil stuff
• Beat Final Fantasy 15, Persona 5R, River City Girls, and  Dragon Quests 11, Fire Emblem 3 Houses those are all GREAT games I've been admittingly  sleeping on and I want to give them the love and attention they should get  
• Journal more, rather that be in my IRL creative journal or my typepad blog
• Continue to cultivate my own aesthetic 
•  Take up Japanese again
• Draw more art/make more renders featuring my original characters because they're all so wonderful but I didn't get the chance this year to appreciate them
• FINALLY update my Toyhouse account, this is kind of connected to the OC thing, I finally got into Toyhouse (a archive site for artists to keep track of all their OCs and stories) after joining Art Fight this year, I really want to make use of it 
• Read more books
• Have a pen-pal, since I've joined a pen-pal amino
• Study Witch Craft, Im working to make my own magick style/type where it focuses on energy/aura/ and overall promoting good vibes because I believe energies and auras  from stuff like people to  even websites can really influents a person's mood
• Post more sketch dumps, I always tell myself that I need to make sure a piece is completed or else it doesn't look good, but there are sometimes where I just want to sketch a thing and that's it, and that's totally fine
• Take more time in appreciating the work I already have made, instead of fantasizing about the work that has yet to be made (if that makes any sense oof) 
• Do more vintage web surfing; really want to start my web travels section on my site 
• Be more organized

Oof, I REALLY went off didn't I.....I forgot to add "go outside more" but as we have learned we cant necessary do that in chaos time, in reference to the last point to help keep myself organized (along with my IRL journal) I'm also using a website/app called Notion to keep myself on track and on task. Its a site the basically allows you to make a wiki for yourself and the stuff you like to do and keep track of,  its free and you can have infinite pages, and use transparent stickers, gifs, and pngs to decorate your wiki with (I use a bunch of graphics and pixels from sites like glitter graphics of course on mine). I also use it for note taking or writing down quick reminders, or for storing all the docs related to my projects and OCs (so I wouldnt have to use google docs as much)
