Depending on your flooring, a pink scheme would be really nice. If you have light carpeting or wood, darker colors could work really well. Darker wood or carpet is best paired with lighter decor. My general rule of thumb with decorating and buying stuff is that if the floor is dark, the purchase should be light and vice versa. Too much dark makes a room overly warm and makes it feel stuffy and kinda iffy. Too much light can be a strain on the eyes and have similar effects with temperature. This effect also goes for color. Too much warm tones makes it feel overwhelming. Personally, it makes me feel warm from the inside in a bad way. Cooler colors don't quite have this effect but it can still be too much. The key is balance.

I don't know if you already use pinterest but that's a great place to look for decor ideas! There's a lot of easy diy projects you could do to make art/decor for your space. Also youtube room makeovers, obviously.
In general, if you have wood floors, I would absolutely recommend a rug. If you like the gentle/cozy theme that kind of goes with a lavender room, I would look for curtains, pillows, throw blankets, string lights, and whatever else would help your room feel more soft. Storage is important, so look for shelves that you can hang on your walls and put your fav things (plants, crystals, books, etc.) on display!
Hope this helps a little :-)

It's soft and it feels really nice to walk across, plus it fills in some of the empty space in the middle of my floor! Walking on the wood all the time with no change can hurt after a while and it can cause blisters. I genuinely cannot stress the importance of a rug, even just a cheap one from Walmart.
