I really love roller skating but I kinda suck. Idk how to do the fun dancing stuff I see on tiktok but I know how to stop now!! So that's good!
Anyone have any tips?

practice makes perfect. i learned in elementary school cuz some middle schoolers taught me at the skating rink but use youtube videos! i used to self teach myself gymnastics using youtube videos and it taught me a lot so try that.

You can watch tutorials on youtube, my favorite channel is planetrollerskate. Other than that it's good to practice a lot and gain more confidence on your skates! other than that just have fun and don't be afraid to try new things! I rollerskate a lot in summer/spring as well and what really helped me was to just explore your or a friend's neighbourhood on you skates, it's so much fun!

I started skating recently and I found using the like squishy material at some park playgrounds actually really great since it's kinda bouncy falling hurts less and it's good to practice tricks! (also anyone in the scv/valley/LA area I've been wanting more ppl to skate with)
