I'm really glad I was a kid in the early 2000s. I think those of us born in the late '90s got to grow up in such a special time. For me, I think being a little girl in this era was the best. Toys marketed to girls at this time were so whimsical and cute, and there was so much pink ! Between the toys, the music, and the clothes we wore, I can't think of a better time to be a kid. We also had exciting new technology at our fingertips, and come to think of it, we might've been the first generation to grow up on the computer, which I think is pretty cool. What was your favorite part about being a kid in the early 2000s? Any specific memories?

I've talked about this a bit, but one of the coolest things I remember about the 2000's was watching technology rapidly advance. I lived in the Bay at the time, and just seeing all the change from early into the decade until 2010 was huge. There were also so many Vpets, as well as online spaces for kids, neither of which are all that true today. Personally, I think every era has its pros and cons, though. There's some stuff like more accessibility to playline articulated dolls and better media representation that I feel like recent years have done better on, but in general I have a fondness for the 2000s a lot.

I've always loved the music from the 2000s (although as a kid I didn't pay real attention to that, sadly) and also all the tech, primarily the internet and all the broadcast yourself era. You know, YouTube, blogs, personal websites, even facebook was kinda fun back then. Also all the online flash games lol, I pretty much grew up in ClubPenguin xD
